'60s and 70's'? No, try the 90's, dipshit

"Well, I think it's an important part of this campaign to point out that everybody wants change, but there is a right change and a wrong change. I believe that what Senator Obama is advocating is a return to the failed policies of the '60s and '70s-bigger government, higher taxes - Lil' Bush - 6/8/08
Maybe it's because he's so old and senile. Or maybe he will just say anything to get elected.

Barack Obama proposes going back to the exact same tax rates as we had with Bill Clinton's historically successful 'Deficit Reduction Act of 1993' , which as everyone knows, gave us the best economy of our lifetime. Record low unemployment, over 22 million new jobs created, four consecutive budget surpluses and a stock market that tripled.

McCain's economic policies will be nothing more than a continuation of Bush's failed policies. A failed policy of record setting budget deficits that have destroyed the value of our dollar and given us rising costs along with stagnant wages.

I guess Ol' McBush has short-term memory loss with the glorious 90's. But we sure don't.

Your opinion, but not your own facts
On Fox News today, Carly Fiorina, who is a top economic adviser to Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), blatantly distorted Sen. Barack Obama’s (D-IL) tax proposals. When Fox’s Martha MacCallum noted that Obama says he wants to “put money back in people’s pockets and give them tax cuts,” Fiorina claimed that Obama has “not proposed one single tax cut”.
That's total bullshit! Millions of people will be getting tax cuts with;
Look, his lips are moving!
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., hammered Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., on Tuesday for proposing higher Social Security taxes. The presumptive Republican nominee neglected to mention, however, that he was open to a similar approach in 2005.
Of course they support it
The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) has announced that it “strongly supports” Sen. Jim Webb’s (D-VA) 21st Century GI Bill. MOAA said they “understand the concerns of those who would prefer to see enhanced GI Bill benefits tied to extended military service” but “the GI Bill has always been a veterans’ benefit, not a military retention benefit" ...
Of course they support Jim Webb's bill. These are honorable active military and veteran officers. What respectable veteran wouldn't support enhanced educational benefits for Iraq and Afghanistan vets?

It's not the country, it's you asshole
Bush regrets his legacy
In an exclusive interview, he expressed regret at the bitter divisions over the war and said that he was troubled about how his country had been misunderstood.
I'm not taking any responsibility for George Bush's miserable legacy. He's abroad and once again he's embarrassing our country. There are a lot of culpable people in this country, but I'm not one of them.

Sometimes people actually get smarter
MSNBC is gloating that their star Keith Olbermann bested O’Reilly among 25- to 54-year-olds last week. It’s the first time Olbermann has beaten his primary competitor among the key demographic.
Bush is listening to Obama
PESHAWAR, Pakistan (Reuters) - A pilotless U.S. drone was suspected to have fired a missile into a Pakistani area on the Afghan border on Tuesday, but there was no word on the target or casualties, a government official said.
Isn't it funny how when Barack Obama stated 10 months ago that if he had "actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets" in Pakistan he would take action and all the wingnuts went ballistic!! What's he doing? He's inexperienced and he's going to attack our wonderful ally!! From Bush to McCain to all the ignorant wingnut bloggers -- they whined for days!

And what are we doing now? Ten months later.
