First the communists and unionists?
"First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a communist;

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist;

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew;

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak out for me."
I thought the Nazis were socialists? You can always identify the really ignorant when they try to imply that Hitler and the Nazis were 'leftists'.

In case you're wondering why I'm bringing up this old Holocaust poem you must not have heard about the extremely stupid and outrageously hyperbolic Laura Ingraham at the latest TeaBagger's rally. Or maybe you don't watch the Daily Show.

But this post isn't about pointing out the stupidity of the teabaggers - that's a given. It's to provide further evidence to those who are comically ignorant of history.

As many as one-half million Gypsies, at least 250,000 mentally or physically disabled persons, and more than three million Soviet prisoners-of-war also fell victim to Nazi genocide. Jehovah’s Witnesses, homosexuals, Social Democrats, Communists, partisans, trade unionists, Polish intelligentsia and other undesirables were also victims of the hate and aggression carried out by the Nazis.
It's funny you don't see 'conservatives' mentioned there do you? No, because they were the Nazis.
