U.S. President Barack Obama cut a bold figure on the world stage yesterday, delivering a forward-looking, energetic message to the United Nations General Assembly. George Bush has left the building. America is engaged again, and claims no monopoly on wisdom. The U.S. is canvassing for partners to tackle issues that bedevil the world.

Nothing is more satisfying than seeing the America-hating Fox News, hate-radio and wingnut bloggers shit their pants and cry like babies as they witness how President Barack Hussein Obama deals diplomatically with other nations. When wingnuts' prayers and hope for failure go unanswered, America wins.

WASHINGTON — President Obama is exploring alternatives to a major troop increase in Afghanistan, including a plan advocated by Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. to scale back American forces and focus more on rooting out Al Qaeda there and in Pakistan, officials said Tuesday.

Joe Biden knows the right path to take in Afghanistan. We have too many troops there, not too few. The 22,000 Obama has sent there since February are more than enough to kill al-Qaeda. That should be our only mission there. Do it and get the hell home. Go Joe!

The House and Senate voted to end funding for ACORN in the wake of a video sting. Now some are asking why the same treatment isn't being given to corrupt defense contractors.

What is a bigger scam: $53 million over 15 years or $25 billion over eight? (Note to Chickenshit-a billion is more than a million) And ACORN didn't electrocute our soldiers or murder its employees.

It has a link to a piece from Politico about a possible year in jail and a $25,000 fine for 'failing to pay the up to $1,900 fee for not buying health insurance.' That's not 'Obamacare' - that is 'Baucuscare' and we've already determined that he's in the pocket of insurance companies. Single payer, Medicare for everyone. Anything else isn't worth it. We don't need to pay hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars every year to insurance companies so they can hand our payments over to the providers. Why is that so hard to figure out? -- Well, Glenn Beck knows ...

There's that diplomacy again
