US intelligence analysts are putting the final touches on a secret National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) on Afghanistan that reportedly describes the situation as "grim", but there are "no plans to declassify" any of it before the election, according to one US official familiar with the process.Of course George Bush wants to delay the grim news out of Afghanistan since John McCain has ignored the real war on terror until he jumped on Barack Obama's bandwagon just a couple of months ago. The NIE will only once more highlight how out of touch McCain truly is on foreign policy.
And while our commanders in Afghanistan plead with this administration, Bush will leave our soldiers there without the reinforcements they need until next spring; when his stupid ass will be sitting back in Crawford.
Elect Barack Obama, the only man in this race to have gotten it right on the war on terror. John McCain on the otherhand, a man dumber than even George Bush, completely forgot about it.
