WASHINGTON - Army Gen. David Petraeus, the four-star general who led troops in Iraq for the past year, will be nominated by George Bush to be the next commander of U.S. Central Command, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Wednesday.When Bush and Cheney wanted to attack Iran for the nuclear weapons they don't have, Admiral William Fallon, a military's man, a man of honor who called David Petraeus exactly what he is, "an ass-kissing little chickenshit", wouldn't go along with the nation's top two Chickenhawks and instead did what a honorable military man does, he resigned.
But Bush knew he could rely on Petraeus to do whatever he wants because; well, because he's a sycophant.
Let's just hope we can get through these next seven months and then not elect Lil' Bush to continue the last seven disastrous years.
