Why all of sudden is Bush being prudent?

Bush to Pledge Vetoes to Slow Earmarks
"The White House says Congress earmarked nearly $17 billion for more than 11,700 projects in the current fiscal year."
So George Bush is going to rail tonight about 'earmarks'.

He never said a word when Republicans had almost 16,000 earmarks. Yeah, you read that here. On more than one occasion.

George is all up in arms all of sudden about a lousy $17 billion in 'pork'. Pork that is spent on projects here in the U.S.

The same amount he needlessly wastes every 5 - 6 weeks in Iraq, he suddenly just can't stand to see being spent here.

He should have stepped in and led when his party was setting records at pork-barrel spending. Now that the Democrats are in charge and driven that amount down to 11,000, he needs to shut the fuck up and let them take care of the country's budget. Again.
