Now I know there are a lot of stupid people in this country - Believe it or not, there are people who think Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda are Shia Muslims! - but you would hope the president would be a little smarter than some weak-minded, juvenile wingnut blogger.
Didn't Bush and all the fools who went along with the overthrow of Saddam Hussein realize that the majority Shia Muslims in Iraq would align with Iran at the very first opportunity they had?
Bush threatening al-Maliki isn't going to do a damn bit of good. Sixty-five percent of Iraqis are Shia Muslims and Iraq will be a close strategic ally of Iran from now until eternity.
