So much for that 'al-Qaeda in Iraq' excuse

Surprise, it's not 'al-Qaeda-lite', it's the Shia

Shi'ite militiamen with Iranian weapons and training launched nearly three-quarters of the attacks that killed or wounded U.S. forces last month in Baghdad, stepping into the void left as Sunni insurgents have been dislodged, a top U.S. commander said Sunday.

Lt. Gen. Raymond Odierno didn't provide a total number of militia attacks. But he said 73% of the attacks that wounded or killed U.S. troops last month in Baghdad were launched by Shi'ite militiamen, nearly double the figure six months earlier.

Bush and his followers have been playing up the 'al-Qaeda in Iraq' sham for quite some time, but unfortunately, our problems in Iraq are much larger than that.

Our own intelligence agencies have reported for quite some time that the 'farm-leaguers', the 'al-Qaeda-lite', if you will, in Iraq only number between 1,200 and 3,000 fighters, but Bush and his enablers have always known that if you want to scare sheep, you should always tell them there are wolves there. After all, scaring the ignorant has been a major tool in controlling a populace of the weak-minded since the beginning of man.

But now it's being reported by General Odierno that it's the Shia, the huge majority of Iraqis - 65% of Iraqis - who are behind 3/4ths of the attacks in Baghdad against our troops.

This is NOT what Bush wanted General Odierno reporting to you. Sure, the sheople still supporting Bush's war won't be capable of figuring out the contradiction, but the wise, and well informed, hopefully will.
