Talk about a 'Volunteer' Army...

3,000 more Iraqi forces needed in Baghdad, U.S. general says

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. military needs roughly 3,000 more Iraqi forces to join the battle in Baghdad, but requests for the troops have not been met because Iraqi soldiers are reluctant to leave their home regions, the commander of U.S. forces in Baghdad said Friday.
I wonder how many of our soldiers and marines would rather do their duty in Arkansas, New Jersey or Michigan?

Here we are over there, fighting a war that didn't need to be fought, supposedly to bring the Iraqis 'freedom and democracy' and their military personnel get to pick and choose where they get to serve?

It's their goddamn country and they need to step up and serve where they're needed. Or better yet, we need to get the hell out of there and let them solve their own damn problems!
