John McCain wrote an op-ed for the NY Times. Did you know that 60 million people voted for that crazy motherfucker? Thank God for the 70 million who didn't.
Let's say you're a Senator from Illinois and you get elected President of the United States and your entire Joint Chiefs of Staff and your Secretary of Defense - a well respected man who you inherited from the last guy - "unanimously recommend" you do something militarily, don't you think you would go with that recommendation? Can you imagine what the Teabaggers would have said when two months into his presidency Obama rejected a unanimous recommendation by our country's leading military men?
That is how Mr. Putin viewed the “reset” policy. United States missile defense plans were scaled back. Allies in Eastern Europe and Georgia were undercut.And here's another quote from McNasty's op-ed;
