Republicans - or more commonly known as, 'phony-conservatives', couldn't care less about spending and deficits. Name one Republican over the last forty years who has cut spending or balanced a budget. You can't, because there are none. They don't exist. And as for spending, nobody comes close to the Gipper and Gump.
