Actually, it's not 100% true

Clinton's speech sails through Fact Checkers

PolitiFact fact-checked Bill Clinton's, "Since 1961 … our private economy has produced 66 million private-sector jobs. So what's the jobs score? Republicans 24 million, Democrats 42 (million)", statement from last night and of course, they gave it a 'TRUE'.

But really, it's much worse than that for Republicans. Bill Clinton and PolitiFact cut George W. Bush's job losses off at January 2009 and as anyone with an IQ above job room temperature would admit, his direct effect on job losses went way into Barack Obama's first year.

Make that 46 million added by Democrats and 20 million by Republicans. We get it right here at 'done that'.

Update: I read some wingnut whining that Politifact is biased. That's bullshit. They try that same tactic with the CBO and BLS all the time. So anyway, FactCheck.org, which is run by the 'Annenberg Foundation' - that would be Walter Annenberg - huge Ronald Reagan donor and family friend - not only confirmed Clinton was right on with his facts but they also pointed out how Republicans have indeed - by their own words - slowed the economic recovery to ensure Obama didn't get the credit.
"He also accused Republicans of blocking 1 million potential new jobs, but that checked out, too:

Clinton: Last year the Republicans blocked the president’s job plan, costing the economy more than a million new jobs.

Two independent economists — Mark Zandi of Moody’s Analytics and Joel Prakken of Macroeconomics Advisers — had estimated that Obama’s proposed American Jobs Act would add more than 1 million jobs. Zandi claimed it would add 1.9 million jobs; Prakken 1.3 million. Senate Republicans blocked the $447 billion measure, and Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell denounced it as “a charade that’s meant to give Democrats a political edge” in 2012.
A million or more jobs is a 'political edge' to that ugly, gizzard-necked hillbilly and the haters on the right?
