Who believes the 'sole' stockholder wouldn't be actively involved?

The Etch A Sketch is stuck.  Shaking it isn't making the lines go away.  You have a company and you're the 'sole' stockholder,  - Sole: being the only one; - chairman of the board, chief executive officer, and president", but you weren't involved in its decisions?
