One Down, One on Hold?

HUNTSVILLE, Texas — White supremacist gang member Lawrence Russell Brewer was executed Wednesday evening for the infamous dragging death slaying of James Byrd Jr., a black man from East Texas.

Wow, do you remember that murder?  No doubt; the death penalty is sometimes very warranted.

The execution of Troy Davis was delayed temporarily on Wednesday night as the US supreme court considered a last-minute appeal just as he was due to be put to death by lethal injection.

Troy Davis deserves to die too, if he did it. I support the death penalty, but there can be no doubt if you're going to kill execute a person.
