Before he even took office
"President-elect Barack Obama wants to renew the U.S. commitment to finding al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, according to his national security advisers.

The Obama team believes knows the Bush administration has downplayed the importance of catching the FBI's most-wanted terrorist..."
'Downplayed'?   Obama has always been way too gracious.   Bush totally ignored bin Laden and al-Qaeda - that history has already been written and very well documented.  Those facts are indisputable.

Can you imagine what all of the racist teabagging haters would have said if Obama had said about bin Laden, "I don't know where he is. I really just don't spend that much time on him, to be honest with you" ?  Bush said that six months after 9/11.   But Obama made finding bin Laden one of his highest priorities. And as you can read from the link above, he did that before he even took office. Now that's change. Big time.

Couldn't have said it better...

"John Yoo taking credit on behalf of the Bush administration for Sunday's strike against Osama bin Laden is like Edward John Smith, the captain of the Titanic, taking credit for the results of the 1998 Academy Awards."
