Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder Calls George W. Bush a liar and a war criminal
"I made it clear that, should Iraq ... prove to have provided protection and hospitality to al-Qaida fighters, Germany would reliably stand beside the US," the former German chancellor said. "This connection, however, as it became clear during 2002, was false and constructed."It's not breaking news that Bush and Cheney lied repeatingly about the link between al-Qaeda and Iraq. But it is news when Gerhard Schroder not only calls Bush a liar but admits that they all knew there wasn't a link way before Bush and Cheney stopped claiming there was.
