Whose 'economic growth' matters?
...The U.S. Chamber of Commerce declared its opposition to the 'Creating American Jobs and Ending Offshoring Act' claiming that “replacing a job that is based in another country with a domestic job does not stimulate economic growth.”
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce - without question some of the most despicable people in American - along with Senate Republicans are not even trying to hide the fact that they don't care about jobs in the U.S. When they say hiring an American by replacing a foreign worker 'does not stimulate economic growth' just whose economy are they concerned about? It's not ours!

Republicans vote against Americans

WASHINGTON, Sept 28 (Reuters) - U.S. Senate Republicans blocked a Democratic bill on Tuesday to end tax deductions enjoyed by companies that close their U.S. plants and move overseas.
Why would any patriotic American vote for a Republican? I guess the key word there is, 'patriotic'. It's hard to be patriotic for something you hate.

Fighting the real war on terror
(CNN) -- A recent drone strike in Pakistan's tribal region killed one of al Qaeda's top commanders, two Pakistani security officials told CNN Tuesday. Sheikh Mohammad Fateh al Masri, described as the group's senior operational commander, was killed in North Waziristan, one of the seven districts of the country's volatile tribal region. ...He replaced Mustafa Abu Yazid, al Qaeda's former leader in Afghanistan, who was killed in May by a drone strike in Datta Khel in North Waziristan.
If we would have been doing this 8-9 years ago, all of our troops would have been home a long time ago. But of course, Barack Obama told us he would be doing this over three years ago and they laughed at him. Bush and McStupid called him 'naive'. Well, who turned out to be naive?  Barack Obama sure didn't and we are finally killing those who actually attacked us.  Thank you, sir!
