Strong Auto Demand Pushes Retail Sales Up 1.4 Percent in October

WASHINGTON -- Retail sales rose more than expected in October, but the gain largely reflected a big rebound in auto sales.

I thought the 'Cash for Clunkers' program was supposed to devastate future auto sales? That program ended in August.

Of course we are talking about the economy and if this country has learned anything over the last 25-30 years it's; if the subject is the economy, do the opposite of what the phony-conservative Republicans say we should do.
