We 'cut and run' from the real war on terror

U.S. and Afghan troops have abandoned a remote outpost in eastern Afghanistan where militants killed nine American soldiers this week, officials said Wednesday.

Compounding the military setback, insurgents quickly seized the village of Wanat in Nuristan province after driving out the handful of police left behind to defend government offices, Afghan officials said.
How tragic that we lose 9 soldiers, with 15 more wounded, and then two days later we abandon the base they were defending?

This is the type of military leadership we get from the party that is suppose to be so tough on our national security.

There is only one national candidate who has been consistently calling for more troops in our real war on terror in Afghanistan and Pakistan. And that's not John McCain. Well, he did finally jump on Barack's bandwagon yesterday but that's way too late to count for much of anything.

Bush, with the unrelenting support of John McCain, have left us in a situation where our troops have to abandon, 'cut and run', from the battle they should be fighting. -- That is absolutely disgraceful!
