[Ted Stevens, the corrupt and sure to be soon indicted Republican Senator from Alaska demanded that the Energy Information Administration do a study on what the effect on gasoline prices would be if we drilled for oil at the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). The EIA completed that study in May. And what were their findings? Drilling in ANWR would "translate into a reduction in gas prices between just one cent and four cents" by 2018.
