The Cost of Ignorance - $7,700,000,000,000

Yesterday, lawmakers took to the Senate floor and blasted President Bush’s wasteful spending. To fully illustrate the impact, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), brought up a chart showing the budget plans of President Clinton versus the budget formulated by Bush. He concluded that by squandering Clinton’s government surplus, Bush has cost the country $7.7 trillion.
And unfortunately, they're not done yet. You'd also have to add the additional $2-3 trillion that it will cost to treat our wounded from their bogus 'war on terror' in Iraq and Bush's final budget and its $500 billion deficit.

Where are the Bush sheep who complain about the pittance of earmarks? Just like they were silent when Republicans ran earmarks up to $71 billion when they controlled Congress -- Democrats in the 110th have reduced them to $17 billion -- they will ignorantly continue to support the bankrupting party who got us here.

And why is that? Because they're pathetic sheep incapable of thinking on their own.

The ignorance in this country is very expensive.
