And he's still talking shit
“We’re not going to get into house-to-house fighting in Baghdad. We may have to take out buildings, but we’re not going to have a bloodletting of trading American bodies for Iraqi bodies.” [John McCain-9/29/02]
You nailed
another one there, Flippy.
Nah, he's not a race-baitor
Rush Limbaugh, 2/14/06, on his radio talk show explaining why the Democrats 'chose' Sherrod Brown over Iraq war veteran Paul Hackett in the Ohio Democratic Senate primary race;
"And don't forget,
Sherrod Brown is black. There's a racial component here, too," ...the newspaper that I'm reading all this from is The New York Times, and they, of course, don't mention that."
(Why are they so dumb? They repeat what Rush tells them)
Guess the patriot & the traitor
Who said the following;
1. "Explain to the mothers and fathers of American servicemen that may come home in body bags why their son or daughter have to give up their life?"

A) Glen Beck
B) Sean Hannity
C) Al Franken
D) Rush Limbaugh
E) Bill O'Reilly
Okay, that one was easy. This one may be a little tougher. Who, of those same five people above, said that questioning George Bush during wartime is;
2. " communicating to our enemies that our nation is divided, and that we lack resolve..."
Now that one is a little tougher, huh? The answers* are below.
Compare & Contrast
"Let us never negotiate out of fear. But let us never fear to negotiate." - John F. Kennedy

"I think war is a dangerous place." - George W. Bush
I'd have to take those odds
Harrahs is giving 250 to 1 odds** that the following match-ups won't represent the 2008 nominees for President and Vice-President of the Republican and Democratic Partys.
McCain/Lieberman vs. Feingold/Hagel
'Fresh from de-Gayhab'
One of four ministers who oversaw three weeks of intensive counselling for Rev. Ted Haggard said the disgraced minister emerged convinced that he is "completely heterosexual." Another oversight board member, Rev. Mike Ware of Westminster, said the group demanded the Haggards leave Colorado City and the Haggards agreed.
That's where everybody's at!
In 2005, State and Federal prison authorities had in custody 1,446,269 inmates at yearend 2005: 1,259,905 in State custody and 179,220 in Federal custody.
-Local jails held 747,529 persons awaiting trial or serving a sentence at midyear 2005. An additional 71,905 persons under jail supervision were serving their sentence in the community.
That's a lot of people-And quite a few who are locked up for petty crimes and shouldn't be, I bet. - 2.2 million people locked up, at conservatively, $10,000 each, or $22 billion in cost per year. Maybe we could give some of them 'amnesty', or maybe they'd go off and fight our wars.
Say hi to Bubba, Iggy
EL PASO, Texas — A former Border Patrol agent who was convicted of shooting a drug smuggling suspect and then lying about it has been beaten by fellow inmates in prison. Ignacio Ramos suffered minor cuts and bruises, U.S. Bureau of Prisons spokeswoman Traci Billingsley said in a statement. Ramos was sentenced for shooting an unarmed illegal alien, Osvaldo Aldrete Davila in the back - actually in the ass - as Davila ran away from him. Now Agent Ramos is trying to protect his own ass - and probably in more ways than one...if you know what I mean.
Shiite and Sunni
The Islam religion was founded by Mohammed in the seventh century. In 622 he founded the first Islamic state, a theocracy in Medina, a city in western Saudi Arabia located north of Mecca. There are two branches of the religion he founded. The Sunni branch believes that the first four caliphs--Mohammed's successors--rightfully took his place as the leaders of Muslims. They recognize the heirs of the four caliphs as legitimate religious leaders. These heirs ruled continuously in the Arab world until the break-up of the Ottoman Empire following the end of the First World War. Shiites, in contrast, believe that only the heirs of the fourth caliph, Ali, are the legitimate successors of Mohammed.

Cheney vs the truth
Two months before the Iraq invasion-IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei tells the UN Security Council that inspections have turned up no evidence of nuclear weapons programs in Iraq. "[I]t appears that the aluminum tubes would be consistent with the purpose stated by Iraq and, unless modified, would not be suitable for manufacturing centrifuges."
Cheney lying to Russert days before the invasion - "...if I can put it in those terms, is that he [Saddam Hussein] now is trying, through his illicit procurement network, to acquire the equipment he needs to be able to enrich uranium to make the bombs.
MR. RUSSERT: Aluminum tubes.
VICE PRES. CHENEY: Specifically aluminum tubes.
Mohamed ElBaradei, of course won the Nobel Peace Prize for his work. Dick Cheney, hopefully, will be going to prison for his.

Cheney's '1% Doctrine'
Dick Cheney developed his 'One Percent Doctrine' so that he could sell the invasion of Iraq. His policy was simple; If there was even a 1% chance that a presumed enemy had wmd's, then they were open to an all-out attack. After all, Cheney is in charge.
I love this line from '1% Doctrine'-(Some of them nicknamed Cheney "Edgar," as in Edgar Bergen -- casting the president as the ventriloquist's dummy.)
Today along time ago
On February 7, 1795 the 11th Amendment to the United States Constitution was passed.

*The answer to both questions is, 'B', Sean Hannity. In the first quote, the little twerp and phony patriot, is talking about Bosnia, when of course, Bill Clinton was the Commander-in-Chief. By the way, there were NO body bags that came home from that war, Sean. Not one. The second quote is the smartass hypocrite accusing those who dare question George Bush on his motives, or his costly incompetence in Iraq, of helping the enemy. There have been over 3,100 body bags so far as a result of Bush's fiasco. Sean Hannity is a politically and morally inconsistent little punk.

**I made that up
