Lights out in Baghdad

WASHINGTON - Getting full-time electric power turned on in Baghdad, a key wartime goal toward which the United States has spent $4.2 billion dollars, won't be accomplished until the year 2013, U.S. officials said.
Yeah, that's working out real well. Ten years after we invade their country we'll have the electricity up and running.

You don't needlessly invade and occupy countries for no reason. Why? It's expensive...costing us billions.

Should have kept our eyes on the prize in Afghanistan and left. Not paying for anything but the ride home.
