Never been done: No. 16 seed UMBC topples No. 1 Virginia in historic NCAA tournament upset, 74-54

I had never heard of UMBC, the University of Maryland Baltimore County, until about a week ago. Virginia wasn't only a number one seed, they were the number one seed of the four. Great, historic game.
