Trump suggests George W. Bush bears some blame for 9/11
Five days into George W. Bush's reign of incompetency, on 1/25/01, Richard Clarke gave Condoleezza Rice a security memo that warned the administration that we 'urgently' needed to something on al-Qaeda. She ignored him and demoted him. The Bush administration had other priorities. As we all know, Bush told his cabinet members in their first meeting he was much more interested in attacking Saddam Hussein for what he tried to do his father than worrying about al-Qaeda.
Was Gump responsible for 9/11? Of course not, Osama bin Laden was. But, Bush and his entire administration were the most incompetent administration in the history of our country and the 9/11 Commission clearly wrote just how incompetent they were. Those are the historical facts and wingnuts will just have to get over it.
They always have had problems with the truth.
Yeah, Trump is an asshole. But so is Jeb Bush (and every single one of their 'candidates') to try to imply that 'his brother kept us safe'. When you speak idiocy like that, you're open to people telling the facts of what really happened in those eight miserable years.
