The consumption tax these teabaggers are pitching calls for an 18% tax on basically everything you spend if you're at a certain income tax level. Hey, suppose I am now retired and I have $200,000 cash I'm now going to spend. I already paid federal and state income tax on that $200,000 and now you want me to spend ANOTHER 18% on it when I spend it? Fuck you, Hillbilly!
