Just how close we came in 2008

Watching John McCain this morning on Face the Nation - just like every single time I hear him speak - I cringe to think about how fucked up we'd still be if wingnuts had elected him and the embarrassing Twit in 2008.

McCain who did prove in 2008 that he is ignorant on Sunnis and Shiites, was on my TV again this morning as a foreign policy expert whining that Iran is becoming more involved in the Middle East and warning about the advance of ISIS at the same time.

Look, we can't fix stupid but we can try real hard not to elect the idiots to office again.
