Drawing pictures for the unable
Joe Blow is 52 years old and for the last 25 years he's worked for a small machine shop. He's worked his way up to almost $20 hour and his company pays for his health insurance. Joe has been fairly frugal over the years and every month he stashed away a few hundred dollars and now has almost $75,000 in the bank. Joe has always wanted to start his own business but he couldn't leave his current employer because five years ago he had a heart attack so no new insurance company would cover him because of his pre-existing condition. He was 'stuck' in that job.

Joe isn't 'stuck' anymore. Joe can now do what he wants. Start a business and maybe hire a couple of people. Joe's old job at the machine shop isn't 'lost'. They will hire a replacement and now Joe will be able to 'choose' what he wants to do.

I find that if I talk simply, give easy examples - sorry, I can't draw you a picture - that even the Teabagger readers here might understand what the CBO actually reported.
