Well, really...not so much

How many fools have you heard say that? 'In God We Trust' became our official motto in 1956. I think it was the Republican's most famous Senator, Joe McCarthy, who took the lead on that. But oh, the founders put it on our currency. No they didn't. They wouldn't have done that. They wrote and signed the Establishment Clause.
