Who 'saved' the 2002 Winter Olympics?
Mitt Romney didn't save the Olympics. What a bunch of bullshit. It was the American taxpayers who bailed out the Olympics. It was just another Republican sucking at the public trough and masquerading as an independent business man.

The federal government will pay nearly half of the $2.7 billion it is expected to cost to host the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, according to the report. The $1.3 billion in federal spending is more than double the amount of federal funds —$609 million— that supported the 1996 summer Olympics in Atlanta.
And, let's face it. If it would have really been up to Romney to 'save' the Olympics, he would have sent them to China.
