And as far as being 'feared', that's a joke. Everybody in this country should know that when Condi Rice and the Bush administration were asked by a congressional committee if they would go into Pakistan to kill Osama bin Laden her reply was, “Sir, one of the most difficult problems we face in this war is how do you attack an enemy inside of a country with which you're not at war?”.
Funny, the Obama administration didn't find it too difficult. They were bound and determined to avenge what Bush had ignored and they didn't ask for permission.
Bin Laden certainly didn't fear Condi Rice and her administration. And why should he; they completely ignored him for seven plus years.
