A Day of Infamy
WASHINGTON, March 19, 2012 – On the ninth anniversary of U.S. forces moving into Iraq, President Barack Obama has proclaimed today to be “A National Day of Honor.”
Regardless of what President Obama proclaims, invading Iraq was never close to being honorable.  Fifty-seven percent of Congressional Democrats were right to vote 'no' on Bush, Cheney and Powell's trumped-up and faulty reasons to invade.  This day, March 19, needs to be called what it is; a day of infamy that needlessly cost 4,500 American lives, 32,000 wounded and $3 trillion dollars.
