We don't have to ask for peace
"Talks With Taliban a Long Way Off, American Envoy Says"

KABUL, Afghanistan — No peace talks with the Taliban this week: That was the short message on Sunday from the American envoy charged with starting those negotiations.
We don't need to ask the Taliban for peace. All we need to do is tell Karzai and the Taliban to work out their own goddamn problems. We're leaving and if you ever harbor terrorists whose mission it is to kill Americans ever again we will come back here - no boots, only cruise missiles and B2 bombers - and knock you're asses back into the Stone Age.  End of talks.
