Our Governor forgot to thank President Barack Obama
LANSING -- Delivering his second State of the State address Wednesday, Gov. Rick Snyder called for a consolidation of gains made in 2011 -- gains he said were highlighted by a marked decline in state unemployment -- and a commitment to his trademark "relentless, positive action."Unemployment in Michigan is the lowest it has been since BEFORE Barack Obama took office. That's right - it's the lowest it's been since 2008 and we Michiganders have Barack Obama to thank for that because if we would have listened to job-killing Republicans like Mitt Romney or Rick Snyder we would have been doomed.
So when Michiganders are asked, 'are you better off than you were three years ago', we can proudly and happily say, absofuckinglutely! Thanks to Barack Obama!
Thanks Mr. President. If our governor doesn't have the sense, the decency or the courtesy to thank you, we will.
