It's the 26th Amendment, numbnuts!

“Those who are going to be over 21 on November 12th, I ask for your support.  Those of you that won’t be, just work hard. Because you’re… counting on us.”

The 26th Amendment was ratified in 1971 - the year I turned 18.  And Presidential elections have been on the first Tuesday after the first Monday since 1845 so it's impossible for the election to be on November 12.  Teabaggers can hold off and vote on that day, though.
