Is 'God' punishing Texas?

Just asking.  You know how the crazy rightwing - i.e, their spiritual guru, Pat Roberston or their embarassing nutjob, Michele Bachmann, often imply that 'God' must be punishing those evil blue states with those blown up buildings, snowstorms and hurricanes?

Maybe 'God' is warning us about Rick Perry.  He certainly owes us big-time after George Bush.

Don't they have locust down there, too?
