Thank who for the 'Surge'?

If one of your children carelessly burned your house down would you give them a hero's welcome because they left the door open and your dog escaped?

I have heard more than one person on Fox today (I'm vacationing) ask if Barack Obama for some strange reason should thank George W. Bush for the Iraq 'Surge'. Bush is a war criminal that deserves nothing more than a prison sentence when it comes to Iraq.

Should we thank Bush for the $2 trillion wasted and the 4,416 dead and 31,882 wounded young Americans because of his treasonous stupidity? What a fucking joke!

Bush lied us into an unnecessary war that almost destroyed our country. Barack Obama is ending one of our country's biggest historical blunders and thanking Bush for anything related to it is utter nonsense!

I thank, and apologize to, the men and women who had to fight Bush's criminal act. We owe Bush nothing but a prison sentence and the disdain he deserves.
