WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama on Friday forcefully endorsed allowing a mosque near ground zero, saying the country's founding principles demanded no less.
I understand what President Obama means when he talks about our 'founding principles' but it still feels like a sharp stick in the eye.
To be perfectly honest, I don't like seeing mosques built anywhere in this country. And I don't think I started it.
