The only fight we should have fought

4,000 Marines Launch Assault in Afghanistan
"... Officers say it's the biggest Marine combat operation since the battle of Fallujah in Iraq five years ago. Hundreds of British and Afghan troops also are taking part in the operation.

Brig. Gen. Larry Nicholson told his Marines several weeks ago that they would "ride" the Taliban forces.

"There is no pullback. We will stay on him and we will ride him until he's either dead or surrenders," Nicholson said to the troops in the address at their base, Camp Leatherneck." - NPR
At least our country now has a Commander-in-Chief who will focus on our real enemies.

President Obama and Gen. Nicholson need to ride the Taliban until they hunt down and kill Osama bin Laden and cut the head off al-Qaeda.

Killing the Taliban should only be the collateral damage of pursuing the bounty we went there for almost eight long years ago. How about getting that done and then getting the hell home?
