WASHINGTON — The Senate on Thursday night abandoned efforts to fashion a government rescue of the American automobile industry, as Senate Republicans refused to support a bill endorsed by the White House and Congressional Democrats.Republicans often whine about unions supporting Democrats. All of the 'industrial' states have been strongly 'Blue' for quite sometime. And the Republicans just cannot figure out why.
Crackers like Shelby, DeMint and Corker will complain that they get no benefit from the unions – they always support the Democrat - so why should they vote to protect their jobs? They just answered their own question.
And the rest of us will see the effect of these Republican crackers in today’s stock market.
