India, a huge country of 1.13 billion people, second (by far) to only China in population, is over 80% Hindu.
But they are also 13.4% Muslims. That's a staggering 151 million Muslims in India. Hell, India's rabid Islamic neighbor and archenemy, Pakistan, only has a total population of 172 million.
India and Pakistan have fought three wars since Pakistan's 1947 independence. They hate each other and kill each other quite often.
