Gridlock

John McCain's best strategy right now is his message that an Obama presidency with Democratic majorities in both Houses could wreak havoc.

If that message resonates with voters in these last 7 days it could definitely sway 'informed' undecided voters. Huh, 'informed' and 'undecided' -- now, that makes sense.

Going against my long held belief that gridlock is good for government can easily be summed up in three words: Supreme Court Justices.

The importance of that was never more clearly demonstrated to me than when back in June four Justices, Scalia, Thomas, Alito and Roberts, shamelessly ruled against Habeas Corpus and the Constitution.

Gridlock is not worth losing the Supreme Court and the Constitution.
