Instead of running a photo of the Walter Reed Army military hospital, left, convention staff mistakenly flashed this Walter Reed, a middle school in California, on a giant screen while McCain spoke. In an attempt to hide John McCain's well-documented disdain for our military his campaign wanted to show a screen image of Walter Reed Hospital. The result? The fucking idiots showed a picture of 'Walter Reed Middle School'.
As Paul Riekhoff, director of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, said on Countdown last night;
"I think honestly that backdrop, whether it was Walter Reed medical center or Walter Reed middle school — that’s about as close as Sen. McCain got to veterans issues last night. He didn’t mention the word veteran once during his entire speech, didn’t talk about post-traumatic stress disorder, didn’t talk about veterans funding. I think he really forgot where he came from last night."McCain's incompetence is well known. His hatred and absolute neglect and loathing of our military and its veterans is just now being exposed.
