I just had to lead off with that comical statement from John McCain.You know, for a person like John McCain, who has been one of our country's biggest cheerleaders to our bogus and needless invasion 7,000 miles from our border to make a statement like that leaves no question that he is definitely schizophrenic. It's amazing to me just how fucking stupid he actually is.
Remember the Bay of Pigs, Misha?
Georgia's President, Mikhail Saakashvili, or 'Misha' as McCain calls him, got some very bad inside information from his well-paid American lobbyist, Randy Scheunemann. Scheunemann, John McCain's chief foreign policy advisor, told Misha that he could go ahead and attack South Ossetia and he would have John McCain send in American forces if they were needed.
So Misha invaded South Ossetia - a breakaway republic that 70% of its inhabitants want independence from Georgia - killing a couple of thousand civilians and a couple of dozen Russian 'peace keepers'. And then Russia proceeded to kick Misha's ass in about 20 minutes and Randy and Lil' Bush never showed up with the reinforcements.
That's the way that happened. 'Misha' jumped the gun and now he's going to want his $900,000 back.
