“It would be terrific to have an article from Senator McCain that mirrors Senator Obama’s piece. To that end, the article would have to articulate, in concrete terms, how Senator McCain defines victory in Iraq. It would also have to lay out a clear plan for achieving victory — with troops levels, timetables and measures for compelling the Iraqis to cooperate. And it would need to describe the Senator’s Afghanistan strategy, spelling out how it meshes with his Iraq plan,”The NY Times, like the rest of the entire country should be, are tired of listening to John McCain's rhetoric. Those who stupidly took us to Iraq need to explain, why did we go there, why we are still there and just what is, 'victory'?
McCain can't answer that because he doesn't have an answer. None of them do.
John McCain has written seven op-eds for the NY Times and they endorsed him as the Republican nominee this year. He needs to shut the fuck up and quit acting like a crybaby.
It's about time they tell these warmongering fools, enough with the rhetoric -- explain to the American people just what the hell you're talking about. Of course, they can't and now they'll whine like babies because somebody finally stood up and called their stupid asses on it.
If all McCain has to say is the same old tired, weak, non-sensible and many times discredited bullshit on Iraq, why print it?
Nice job, Mr. Shipley. It's about time someone stood up to these incompetent fools.
