The Senate Wednesday passed the amended Foreign Surveillance Intelligence Act (FISA) by a vote of 69-28, expanding the powers of the federal government to eavesdrop on terrorism suspects and providing more fodder for the McCain campaign after Sen. Barack Obama reversed his stance on the bill and voted in favor of the legislation.Man, take a stand, dude. It's only the Fourth Amendment!
Hats off to my two Senators, The Honorable Carl Levin and Debbie Stabenow and the other 26 who stood up for what was right.
I don't get it Barack. You know damn well the wire-tapping was unconstitutional and you still voted yes?
Way too politically calculating for me. Russ Feingold is trying to cover for you so he must know about the game you're playing.
Instead of worrying about being labeled as weak on security, take a stand for The Bill of Rights and don't ever give the government that much power.
Twenty-eight out of one-hundred. ... Grow a fucking a pair, Democrats!
Or Jesse will cut them out for you!
