Who said this?
"I not only think we could get along without it [American military presence] , but I think one of our big problems has been the fact that many Iraqis resent American military presence. And I don't pretend to know exactly Iraqi public opinion. But as soon as we can reduce our visibility as much as possible, the better I think it is going to be."
Who said that? John 'Double-Talk Express' McCain said that on January 31, 2005.

We need to 'reduce our visibility' and the 'American military presence' is one of our 'big problems' in Iraq? That's what happens when you become old and senile and you started off dumb in the first place.

Want some FACTS on Obama's tax cuts?
Families making between $37,595 and $66,354 of annual income with Obama would get an average tax cut of $1,042 per family while McCain’s tax cut for this group would be $319, the report states.
Who's your Daddy, chumps?

But ... I do need to correct you on one thing, Senator Obama

You continue to say in your stump speeches that "we are spending between $10 and $12 billion a month in Iraq". We went over that last weekend. We are spending almost $15 billion a month in Iraq. And that's just the amount they admit to. Give me a call.

But I have to admit, you learn fast!
Barack Obama's presidential campaign has launched a Web site called Fight the Smears. The site is a response to continuing viral efforts to peg Obama as a Muslim or a dangerous radical. It's part of the increasing role of the Internet in campaigns — political and business — and the ability of anonymous activists to spread rumors literally everywhere at once.
Helluva job, Senator. You have to go on the offense and fight wingnuts. When you do, they run like scared sheep. They can't win face to face in the battle of ideas -- they will need to 'swiftboat' you since Americans are finally starting to get a clue. (Glad you went with my idea.)

They will resort to any means necessary
Imprisoned Chicago businessman Antoin “Tony” Rezko has accused federal prosecutors of improperly pressuring him to implicate Barack Obama in a corruption case. In a letter to the U.S. District judge who presided over his trial, Rezko, who was convicted this month of 16 corruption-related counts, including fraud and money laundering, called prosecutors “overzealous.” And he singled out what he said were their efforts to get him to turn on Obama, an Illinois senator and the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, and Illinois Gov. Rod Bagojevich.

“They are pressuring me to tell them the ‘wrong’ things that I supposedly know about Gov. Bagojevich and Sen. Obama,” Rezko wrote in an undated letter released by the court this week. “I have never been party to any wrongdoing that involved the governor or the senator. I will never fabricate lies about anyone else for selfish purposes. I will take what comes my way, but I will never hurt innocent people.”
Tony Rezko has more class than the corrupt partisan hacks who convicted him. I hope like hell Barack Obama get's a chance to pardon him.

And what about your 'vetter', McNasty?
Democrats on Thursday pounced on the lobbying background of Arthur B. Culvahouse, the former presidential counsel currently leading a quiet search for Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) running mate, and its similarity to that of Sen. Barack Obama’s (D-Ill.) top VP vetter who resigned Wednesday.

Culvahouse and his firm, O’Melveny & Myers, have lobbied for troubled mortgage firm Fannie Mae, defense giant Lockheed Martin, and Occidental Petroleum, the U.S.’s fourth-largest oil and gas firm.
It's laughable for McCain to go after Obama's 'vetters', while his own 'VP vetter' is nothing but another paid lobbyist. I'm not sure if Culvahouse is one of the 134 lobbyists already working for McCain or a new addition.

The man is certifiably psychotic
George W. Bush, on a legacy-shaping farewell trip to Europe, predicted Thursday that his successor in January will inherit "the broadest and most vibrant" transatlantic ties ever.

... And "when the time comes to welcome a new American President next January, I will be pleased to report to him that the relationship between the United States and Europe is the broadest and most vibrant it has ever been," he said.
George W. Bush is a laughing stock to the people in every single country in Europe. As he is in the rest of the world for that matter.

And I think he actually believes most of that shit, too!

Antonin Scalia is a shameless fool
“The game of bait-and-switch that today’s opinion plays upon the Nation’s Commander in Chief will make the war harder on us. It will almost certainly cause more Americans to be killed.”
Baseless hyperbole right out of George Bush's and the Republican's play-book. Rule the masses of weaklings by fear. Since it's a lifetime appointment, are there any ways to speed things up for that ape-looking facist fatass?

Happy Friday the 13th.
