Three U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq

Three U.S. soldiers were killed on Sunday in a suicide attack in Iraq's restive Diyala province, the U.S. military said in a statement.

The attack happened in Baquba, an ethnically mixed and volatile city 65 km (40 miles) north of Baghdad, it said.

That brings the American death toll in Iraq to, 3,871.
