Giuliani: Clinton 'smeared' Petraeus

smear
–verb (used with object)

3 : a usually unsubstantiated charge or accusation against a person or organization -- often used attributively

What Hillary Clinton said;
"The reports that you provide to us really require the willing suspension of disbelief,"

Stating the obvious is not a 'smear'. For any rational, free-thinking person to believe Petraeus' report, or to be more correct, Bush's report, would require a 'suspension of disbelief'.

As was pointed out the other day, anyone who would try to 'cook the books' by re-classifying Iraqis shot in the front of the head as non-sectarian deaths, just so he could use his phony numbers to make the situation look better than it actually is, does NOT deserve anyone's trust.

In his speech last night, Bush said 'sectarian violence is down'. Sure it's down if you only count those killed with a shot to the back of the head like Petraeus is now doing. Petraeus is a political hack who only got his job after generals Casey and Abizaid told Bush his surge wouldn't work and that makes him not much more than a puppet and an enabler to the continuation of Bush's lies.

Hillary was too polite to Petraeus and should have called him what he really is.

And you know, I've been thinking ... Has anyone checked to see if Petraeus isn't actually Gomer Pyle with a promotion?
