Bush uses them and then cuts them off

Veterans face big budget cuts

The Bush administration plans to cut funding for veterans' health care two years from now - even as badly wounded troops returning from Iraq could overwhelm the system.

Bush is using the cuts, critics say, to help fulfill his pledge to balance the budget by
2012.

This is precisely how Republicans treat our military. Suckers in this country fall for their phony support for the troops and the country shows no outrage when Bush puts the screws to them.
